Service Commitments

Equity is committed to providing services in a manner that is respectful, accessible, and timely. Association policies speak to Equity’s responsibilities in the following areas:

Service Standards

The Service Standards Policy expresses Equity’s overall commitment to delivering optimum service to members and others who interact with the Association. Anyone interacting with Equity that feels the Association did not meet its responsibilities in these areas can file a complaint.

Information & Privacy

The Personal Information Policy expresses Equity’s commitment to protecting the personal information of our members and maintaining confidentiality.

The Document Retention Policy states Equity’s schedule for maintaining and destroying Association documents, including contracts and administrative documents.

The Social Media Policy expresses Equity’s commitment to provide a safe space for online discourse–where inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

Respectful Workplaces

The Respectful Workplace Policy expresses Equity’s commitment to fostering safe and respectful workplaces through education, providing of tools for the prevention of inappropriate behaviour, and having a process in place for filing a complaint under the Association’s Bylaws.

Accessibility

The Accessibility Policy expresses Equity’s commitment to provide services in a manner that respects individuals with disabilities and to maintain an office that is accessible to visitors with disabilities.
